Stick's Entertainment is a commissioned Notary Public for the State of Alabama. Notary Public was, originally, pursued as a means to provide a free service to couples who book Stick's Entertainment as their wedding DJ and are needing notarization of their marriage certificates. 

 In the State of Alabama, anyone can conduct a ceremony but it requires a Notary Public to make the act truly official/legal.  This can present a challenge to couples who desire their ceremony and legal dates to be the same.  In most cases, this requires the couple to pay for the Notary Public to be present at the event, This can incur additional charges above the $10 maximum fee allowed per signature by a Notary Public.  These costs can include items such as travel, food and other accommodations which can add up quickly.

If you book Stick's Entertainment as your DJ, then a Notary is already onsite during your event with no extra costs necessary not even for the notarization itself.
