Can you officiate the wedding?

The short answer is yes.  Stick's Entertainment is a commissioned Notary Public. However, if you want Stick's Entertainment to both officiate and DJ the ceremony, there will need to be more than one of us at your event.  The need for an extra person will incur additional cost.

On the other hand, if you have booked Stick's Entertainment as your DJ for the reception only, then doing both is entirely possible with only one person.  Keep in mind that this will also incur additional cost.

Lastly, in Alabama, ANYONE can perform the ceremony.  That's right. ANYONE!  To make the marriage legal, you need a Notary Public, and your official wedding date will be the date that the certificate is notarized.  Stick's Entertainment offers simple wedding certificate notarizations free of charge to couples who book us as their DJ.
